The Concrete Materials Consultancy Division (CMCD) is the ‘Technical Consulting Cell’ of Sunanda Specialty Coatings Pvt. Ltd. It comprises of some of the finest engineers, chemists and material scientists in India. Being the consulting wing of Sunanda, the CMCD provides technical support and consulting services for numerous issues such as material selection, testing, application, preparation of project proposals, site inspections and has a dedicated 24 hour technical helpline for emergency consulting.

The ‘Specialized Case Adoption Center (SCAC)’ at the CMCD adopts each and every problem faced by the construction industry and evolves a successful solution to the satisfaction of the engineer, architect, contractor, builder, consultant, concrete practitioner, educationist, and even student.

The CMCD conducts a number of technical seminars all over the Indian sub-continent throughout the year. These seminars are some of the most exclusive gatherings of senior contractors, consultants, engineers, concrete practitioners and members of the construction industry. They attract some of the best brains in the industry. In addition to being good learning experiences; they present some of the best networking opportunities in the construction world.

During this past monsoon, the CMCD conducted learning sessions & seminars on Emergency Waterproofing System for contractors at various locations including Sion, Andheri, Borivali, Pune, Nashik, Surat & New Delhi.

Another major initiative of the CMCD is the dissemination of industry relevant knowledge through technical and research papers that are published regularly in national/international journals and magazines. The CMCD also publishes an in-house technical bulletin called ‘Sunpolynews’, which is circulated worldwide on a monthly basis.
