CONCRETE ADMIXTURES - POLYTANCRETE - SF

DESCRIPTION

POLYTANCRETE - SF is specially formulated admixture based on modified carboxylic ether. It produces flowing concrete, that is able to consolidate under its own weight. It is supplied as reddish colored liquid, miscible with water.

CONFORMANCE

Conforms to the recommended values of developed test methods for SCC like Slump flow/ Spread, V funnel, L Box etc. Also it conforms to IS: 9103:1999 and ASTM –C 494M – 99a, 1999 Type G as slump retaining, retarding superplasticizer.

SALIENT FEATURES

1. Produces self compacting concrete, with controlled delay of slump loss and workability.
2. Flowing yet very cohesive concrete is produced without bleeding and segregation, which can easily be pumped.
3. High early strength due to high water reduction up to 30-40%.
4. Improves impermeability & durability.
5. Eliminates vibration & reduces labor, cost & time.
6. Can be placed in congested reinforcement.

1. Precast & Ready mix concrete,
2. Safe for use in prestressed and reinforced concrete,
3. Hot weather concreting where rapid slump loss occurs,
4. High Performance concrete.
   

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

POLYTANCRETE-SF is added to prewetted concrete mix, at a rate of 0.4 to 0.8 % by weight of Cementitious material . However actual site trials have to be carried out to determine the optimum dose for the intended application. The measured quantity of POLYTANCRETE – SF is mixed with remaining 10-20 % part of guaging water and then added to the mix. COMPATIBILITY
Compatible with all types of cement. It is also compatible with other SUNANDA’S CONCRETE ADMIXTURES like Polytnacrete VMA-349 –Viscosity Modifying Admixture, but should be added separately.

DOSAGE :
POLYTANCRETE-SF - 0.6 % bw of Cementitious material.
POLYTANCRETE-VMA-349 - 0.3 % bw of Total water.

PACKING

5, 20 and 200 Ltrs. HDPE / MS containers.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

It has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in original containers in a cool, dry place.

HEALTH & SAFETY

POLYTANCRETE - SF is non toxic, non- hazardous . Usual precautions like wearing gloves and goggles when handling should be followed. Accidental splashes on skin and in eyes should be washed off with plenty of plain water.
