DESCRIPTION
POLYTANCRETE VMA 349 is specially formulated admixture based on acrylic polymer. It is supplied as chloride free, milky white coloured liquid, having specific gravity 1.00.
POLYTANCRETE VMA 349 is added to concrete mix as the last ingredient, to control the flow, segregation, sedimentation & bleed of the concrete mix.
SALIENT FEATURES
- Increases cohesiveness & eliminates bleeding & segregation
- Stabilizes components during hardening for improving bonding & hardened properties.
- Produces concrete with strong capacity to retain water.
- Reduces sensitivity of SCC to variations in changes of materials, aggregate moisture content , temperature etc.
APPLICATIONS
POLYTANCRETE VMA 349 is used along with POLYTANCRETE SF in the production of self compacting concrete. Refer literature of POLYTANCRETE SF for detailed information.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
POLYTANCRETE VMA 349 is added as a last ingredient to concrete mix , at a rate of 0.2 to 0.6 % by volume of total water used . However actual site trials have to be carried out to determine the optimum dose for the intended application. For further assistance in optimum dosage, trials and design mix, please contact our CONCRETE MATERIAL CONSULTANCY DIVISION (CMCD).
COMPATIBILITY
Compatible with all types of cement. It is also compatible with SUNANDA’S CONCRETE ADMIXTURE - POLYTANCRETE SF, but should be added separately.
PACKING
5, 20 and 200 Lts. HDPE containers.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
It has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in original containers in a cool, dry place.
HEALTH & SAFETY
POLYTANCRETE VMA 349 is non toxic, non- hazardous. Usual precautions like wearing gloves and goggles when handling should be followed. Accidental splashes on skin and in eyes should be washed off with plenty of plain water.
