Concrete Penetrating Corrosion Inhibitor

DESCRIPTION

POLYALK- CP 113 is concrete penetrating coorosion inhibitor,which works on the principle of Bipolar inhibition mechanism.It inhibits corrosion of rebars simultaneously at cathode and anodes.

POLYALK- CP113 has high vapor pressure and affinity for metal. Due to this it penetrates through dense concrete and deposits on rusted rebars The unimolecular film formed on the surface of steel prevents further attack of chlorides or oxygen thus arresting corrosion process.

APPLICATIONS

1. RCC structures, and steel structures which are exposed to corrosive atmospheres.
2. Structures like bridges, docks, jetties etc.in marine environment.

INSRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Clean thoroughly rusted surface of any loosely held rust particles, scales etc. by stiff wire brush.
2. Spray POLYALK- CP 113 on cleaned surface of steel and concrete surface in vicinity. Ensure that no area is left uncovered.
3. After about 15 minutes wipe the steel and concrete surface with moist cloth to remove any residual material.
4. Apply bondcoat followed by polymer modified mortar in usual manner.
5. Clean equipments with water.
