GENERAL
It is a two component Zinc Rich Epoxy Primer, which provides both barrier and sacrificial protection against steel corrosion. It promotes adhesion, dries rapidly, and can be either shop or field applied.

- Anticorrosive treatment to exposed steel in repairs to structural members.
- Coating of reinforcement bars in new R.C.C. structures.
- H.T. wires in prestressed concrete pipes.
- Mild steel pipeline.
- Mild steel liner to piles.
- Mild steel structures, bridges, arches, etc. especially in marine environment.
- Prestressing cables / strands etc.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Clean the steel surface of any loosely held rust particles, scales, etc. by a stiff wire-brush.
- Apply a de-rusting solution of RUSTICIDE by cotton waste swab and after 24 hours remove, by means of a soft paint brush, any scales that have been loosened by RUSTICIDE.
- Prepare a solution of 1 kg. Of SUNEPOXY ZINCRICH with 0.5 kg. of curing agent and apply this solution to the steel surface by a brush. Ensure that no area is left uncovered.
- Allow this coat to set for a minimum of six hours (or preferably till next day) and apply a similar second coat of such slurry. Allow this coat also to set.
PRECAUTIONS
- Stir intermittently during application to prevent zinc settlement.
- Prepare as much as can be applied within 30 minutes.
- Keep away from heat, sparks, and flame. Avoid breathing vapor. Use with forced air ventilation in confined areas. Avoid contact of resin or hardener with skin or eyes. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water and consult a physician. Do not take internally.
- Wash all implements with thinner.
COVERAGE
Approximately 7 to 8 sq.mts. per kg. per coat on structural steel surface.
PACKING
1, 5, 20 kg HDPE / MS containers.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
It has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in original packing in a cool, dry place.
