Premium Acrylic Anti-Carbonation External Coating

DESCRIPTION

SUNEXT-8 is a 100% acrylic emulsion exterior coating which provides a waterproof and heat insulating external surface.

USES

• Protects external surfaces against carbonation and similar environmental attacks.
• Provides durable and long lasting finish to the external surface.
• Can withstand extreme climatic changes like heavy rainfall, high humidity and heat.

• Available as a single component liquid that can be easily applied by brush.
• Gives protection from water leakages or any damp spots.
• Prevents rise in internal temperature.
• Does not peel or crack.
• Prevents formation of carbonation deposits on the surface thereby preserving the external surface and increasing the total service life of the structure resulting in reduced maintenance cost per year.
• Prevents formation of fungi and algae hence exteriors look freshly painted for years.
• Has UV protection characteristic.
• Has fairly good resistance to abrasion due to normal wear and tear.
• Does not require priming coat thus eliminates additional expenses and saves time.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Clean the surface to remove dirt, loose particles, flaking paint, etc.
• In case of steel surfaces all scales, rust and grease should be removed.
• Life and performances is directly dependent on the extent and quality of cleaning.
• Examine the surface closely for any cracks or openings.
• Fill cracks with POLYFILL AR and for specialized crack use POLYALK EP mortar.
• Open the container and stir well to attain uniform consistency.
• Mix one litre SUNEXT-8 with 400 ml potable water in a clean container.
• Apply the coating by brush, roller or spray.
• Depending on the recommendations apply two or three coats maintaining a minimum interval of 4-6 hours between successive coats.
• Available in all shades however, off white, ivory and light shades are recommended.

COVERAGE

Average 10-12 m²/L/coat on a smooth surface. Depends on nature of the surface and number of coats.

PACKING, STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

1, 4, 20 ltrs. in HDPE / MS containers. It has shelf life of 6 months when stored in original packing in a cool, dry place.
