SUNEXT-SP is a 100% acrylic emulsion exterior coating, which helps to achieve a more durable and long lasting external surface. Due to specialized ingredients, it is useful in providing waterproofing protection to the exterior surfaces of the structure. It has capacity to withstand extreme climatic changes like heavy rainfall, high humidity and heat. It helps preventing the formation of fungus and algae. Stabilizers in this provide protection against U.V. attacks also.

In general this is a dual serving coating with aesthetics and performance. This is available as a single component liquid, which can be very easily applied.

SUNEXT-SP is primarily meant for protection of external surfaces against leakages. It can be effectively used on external walls and surfaces etc. Due to its high elasticity and excellent adhesion properties it can also be used on asbestos, tin sheet roofing systems etc.

SUNEXT–SP coating basically gives protection from water leakage’s or any damp spots without peeling and cracking without any formation of carbonation deposits resulting in fresh look of the coating for years. It has good U.V resistant characteristics.

This is offered in primarily in white colour and avoids any initial priming coat thus eliminating the additional expenditure of a priming coat and saves time too.
It prevents formation of carbonation deposits on the surface thus also preserving the attack of external environmental agencies on the external surface thereby increasing the total service life of the structure with reduced maintenance cost per year.
Unlike cement based exterior paints, SUNEXT-SP coating resists the formation of algae, fungus etc. The exteriors look freshly painted for years.
It is not affected by ultraviolet rays.

Clean the surface to remove dirt, loose particles, flaking paint, etc. and rub down to an original hard surface. In the case of steel surfaces all scales, rust and grease should be removed. The life and performance is directly dependent on the extent and quality of cleaning.
Examine the surface closely for any cracks or openings. Fill them up properly using suitable crack filler like POLYFILL-AR. For specialised crack filling use POLYALK EP mortar. (Refer to our Technical Cell for more details, if required)
Open the container and stir well to attain uniform consistency.
Mix one litre of SUNEXT-SP with 400 ml of potable water in a clean container.
Apply the coating by brush, roller or spray.
Depending on the requirement apply two or three coats with a minimum interval of 4-6 hours between successive coats.

Average 10-12 sq.m. per litre per coat on smooth surface. Actual coverage depends on the nature of the surface and the number of coats.

It has a shelf life of 6 months when stored in original packing in a cool, dry place.

The application of SUNEXT-SP when carried out according to the specified instruction provides a waterproof surface, which would last up to several years depending on the number of coats applied. Three coats are generally recommended.
