DESCRIPTION
SUNEPISEAL 478 is a two pack epoxy, transparent sealer having excellent penetration properties to ensure good adhesion between SUNEPITOP 478 and masonry surfaces.
APPLICATIONS
Recommended as a sealer / primer for SUNEPITOP 478 and can be used alone as dust binder for concrete surface.

Part A - 1.0 ± 3 %
Part B - 0.94 ± 3%
3. Solids (105°C 2 hrs)
Part A - 16 ± 2 %
Part B - 22 ± 2 %
4. Volume Solids - 38 ± 2 %
5. Drying characteristics
Surface Dry - 1 to 2 hrs
Tack Free - 4 to 6 hrs
Hard Dry - 18 to 24 hrs
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Surface preparation
To achieve maximum performance, it is extremely important that,
1. Surface should be free from chalking and any contamination
2. Use sand blasting or high pressure water jetting to get clean, dust free sound surface.
Application can be done by
1. Spray – Airless spray
2. Brush - Use only for small areas
3. Roller – may be used
Conditions during application
Good ventilation is required in confined areas for proper drying , the coating should not be exposed to oil, chemicals or mechanical stress until fully cured.
COVERAGE
Approximately 3.5- 4.5 m2 / kg on level surface. May vary on the nature of surface and number of coats.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF TOOLS & EQUIPMENT
It is advisable to clean the tools and equipment by using solvents such as toluene, xylene etc.
PACKING
1, 5, 20 kgs in HDPE / MS containers.
STORAGE AND SHELL LIFE
It has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in original packing in a cool, dry place. |
