FLOOR HARDENER - POLYABRES
Dry Shake Floor Hardener

DESCRIPTION

POLYABRES is a ready to use ‘Dry Shake on’ product. It is formulated with select cementitous binder, added polymeric property enhancers and tested aggregates of proven hardness.

USES

1. Used for surfaces like floors, treads of staircases, garden paths, railway station platforms and public areas or other area that have to withstand abrasion.
2. Used for Factory floors, storage areas, garages.
3. Civil structures – Dams, spillways etc.

INSTRUCTION TO USE

1. POLYABRES is simple to use but can be applied on fresh concrete only.
2. Sprinkle POLYABRES when the base concrete or screed is in green condition, any bleeding has stopped, fresh surface is hard enough to allow light foot traffic i.e. (3 mm foot print impression).
3. At this stage, evenly spread on the concrete surface half of the total quantity of POLYABRES using sieve of appropriate size.
4. Once the sprinkled powder becomes uniformly dark by the wetness of concrete, surface can be floated by trowels.
5. Soon after floating, balance POLYABRES should be spread at right angles to the first application and similarly floated using power trowels for final finish.
6. Proper curing of the floor is essential.
7. Foot traffic may be permitted after 24 hours and other traffic after one week.
8. In case of old floors, a leveling screed of cement mortar 25 mm thick (average) had to be first provided. Ensure that the screed is bonded to the base concrete.

APPLICATION QUANTITY

PACKING, STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

25 kg bag with a shelf life of 3 months when stored in original packing in a cool, dry place. Precaution to be taken during storage so as to avoid contact with water and moisture.
