SUN PUGARD is a two component aliphatic polyurethane based coating for exterior as well as interior applications. It has excellent chemical and abrasion resistance. Its good adhesion to concrete and variety of other surfaces makes it an ideal choice for coatings.
APPLICATIONS
1. Concrete (cured for atleast 28 days) surfaces.
2. As a topcoat for epoxy flooring.
PROPERTIES
Sp. Gr. @ R T : 1.08 + 3%
Volume solids : 40 ± 3%
Pot Life : 3 to 4 hours.
Drying Characteristics :
Surface – dry – 15 – 30 min.
Tackfree – dry 60 – 90 min
Hard Dry – 24 hrs.
MIXING RATIO
Mix 4 volumes of part A with 1 volume of Part B.
THEORETICAL COVERAGE CAPACITY
DFT 100 microns - 4 sq.m. per litre
DIRECTION FOR USE
- Surface to be coated should be free from dust, oil, grease etc.
- Stir well the contents of Part A.
- Mix 4 volumes of Part A with 1 volume of Part B, Stir well.
- Apply by spray or brush ( If required use thinner SUN PU- 108, upto 2% can be added.)
- Allow to cure for 2 hours before recoating.
- After second coat allow to cure for 24 hrs.
- Clean all the appliances immediately after use with SUN CL-9.
STORAGE AND HANDLING
1. It contains inflammable solvents. Store in a cool ventilated area
away from naked flame, heat, sparks and children.
2. Take necessary precautions like wearing mask, gloves, goggles etc.
when handling the product.
PACKING
20 ltrs. In HDPE / MS containers.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
It has a shelf life of 3 months when stored in original packing in a cool, dry place. |
