Rusticide

RUSTICIDE is a single-component sulphate and chloride-free liquid, which removes rust and prevents further rusting of steel in one operation

RUSTICIDE performs rust removal and rust prevention in one operation in mild conditions.

Coverage	7 - 8 m 2/litre on a monolithic plate-like surface, depending on the surface's extent of rusting and roughness.
Packing	Packing 1, 5, 20 litres.
Conformance	I.S. 9077-1979 (reaffirmed–1997) Appendix B, Clause 5.3.3 for the application procedure.
Storage and Shelf Life	12 months when stored in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight, in original sealed packing.

First Remove the loose rust by mechanical means like wire brushing, chipping, hammering, etc. depending on the extent of corrosion.

Using a cotton waste swab, apply sufficient RUSTICIDE on the affected metal surface.

After a minimum of 24 hours remove the feed loose rust particles by brush.

Sometimes after the detachment of loose scales, the reddish rusted surface is still left exposed. This has to be retreated with RUSTICIDE.
