# concrete bonding agent
Concrete bonding agent is a modified solution that creates superior adhesion between new and existing concrete surfaces. Unlike plain cement mixes, these advanced agents form strong mechanical and chemical bonds that prevent delamination, cracking, and failure in repair and construction applications.
A quality concrete bonding agent is essential for ensuring long-lasting repairs, which enhances tensile strength and improves impermeability. They offer simplified application procedures that reduce labour costs and time while delivering professional-grade results across diverse construction and rehabilitation projects

- SUNEPOXY 358 has a 2:1 resin: hardener volume-based ratio
- Mix the materials thoroughly
- Apply the first coat of the mix by brush as the priming coat
- While the priming coat is wet and tacky, place the epoxy mortar in the required thickness
- Level with a trowel
- Prepare a seal coat & apply this mix with a soft paintbrush over the mortar layer

User Guidelines
- Bond between concrete and plaster
- Bond between concrete and ceramic/glazed tile
- Bond between new and old concrete
- Holds the concrete tightly due to interaction polymerization
- The bond strength increases after curing
- Preserve the bond between steel and concrete
- Non-ionic; hence, no possibility of an attack on concrete by ions like chlorides, alkali sulphates, etc
- Clean the surface with a water jet thoroughly to remove dirt, loose particles, etc
- On the entire clean, moist surface, apply a coat of HACK AID PLAST by spray
- When the surface becomes tacky, apply a chat/dash-coat of cement mortar in 10 minutes
- Check and ensure that the surface is tacky before application
- Plaster the surface or place the concrete in the usual manner after setting the chat/dash coat
A concrete bonding agent is used to create strong adhesion between new and old concrete surfaces. It’s essential for repairs, plastering, waterproofing applications, and ensuring durable bonds in construction and renovation projects.
Concrete bonding agent penetrates the surface and forms a polymer-modified layer that mechanically and chemically bonds new material to existing concrete. It increases adhesion strength, impermeability, and overall durability of the repair or overlay.
Concrete bonding agent works on RCC structures, walls, floors, water tanks, balconies, staircases, and industrial surfaces. It’s suitable for both interior and exterior applications, including areas exposed to moisture and structural stress.
Yes, concrete bonding agent significantly increases impermeability when properly applied. It creates a barrier against water penetration, making it ideal for water tanks, bathrooms, terraces, and other areas requiring waterproof protection.
