TILE ADHESIVES AND TILE GROUTS

• POLYALK TF can be easily mixed with white or grey cement
• The matrix is watertight and has additional flexural and tensile properties
• Tiles can be fixed on either dry or wet surfaces without any loss of bond strength
• Fallen tiles may be re-fixed without disturbing the adjoining tiles

• Clean the surface with a water jet to remove all loose particles, oil, grease, etc
• Prepare a 1:1 slurry of POLYALK TF and cement
• Apply it as a primer on the surface of the tile and the receiving surface
• Prepare a slurry of POLYALK TF, fresh cement, and quartz sand (2 mm down) in 1:3:9 proportion by weight
• Prepare it using a mechanical mixer
• Add little water to spread this mixture uniformly on the back of the already-primed tile
• Do the above task while the priming coat is tacky
• A 3 mm thick layer is recommended
• Remove excess material using a notched trowel
• Press home the tile into the position
• Support the fixed tiles for 48 hours

• Conforms to BS 5980 –1980
• Ready to use; only add water at the site
• It can be applied directly on the substrate or tile in a single layer ranging in thickness from 3mm onwards
• Excellent slip resistance and good open time
• Minimum shrinkage and no curing are required

• Clean the surface, and free the surface of any oil, wax, etc., using a water jet
• Mix 2.5 parts POLYALK TA with 1 part of water by volume
• 6.7 - 7.5 litres of water for each 25 kg bag of POLYALK TA
• Mix thoroughly with a slow-speed stirrer or with a paddle to get uniform lump-free consistency
• Allow the material to stand for 3 minutes, and once again stir the mixture
• Apply the mixture using a flat trowel at a thickness of 2-3 mm and comb with a notched trowel
• Prime the backside of the tile using a suitable bonding agent (if required)
• Fix tiles immediately with a slight twisting action
• Hammer gently with a soft mallet to assume a better bond
• After 24 hours, grouting of joints may be done

• Ready-to-use, just add water on site
• Fills joints up to 6 mm wide
• Crack-resistant
• Excellent adhesion and water impermeability
• Good open time
• Non-shrinkage
• Available in tile-matching colours

Surface Preparation:

• Clean grouting joint surface thoroughly, removing tile adhesive residue, loose particles, and dust.
• Ensure 24 hours have passed since tile installation before proceeding with grouting.

Mixing:

• Combine 2-2.5 parts POLYALK TG with 1 part clean water (volume ratio).
• Mix the components thoroughly to achieve a lump-free homogeneous paste.
• Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes, then stir again.

Application:

• Use a trowel to spread the mixed paste into the joints, ensuring even coverage.
• Finish the grouting surface to achieve the desired appearance.
• Remove excess POLYALK TG with a damp cloth.
• Once the grout has hardened, clean the area to remove any remaining residues.

• HACK AID PLAST TF tightly binds concrete through polymerization interaction.
• Reduces cement mortar thickness for tile fixing, saving costs and labor.
• Bond strength increases as binder mortar cures.
• Non-ionic composition resists damage from chlorides, alkali sulphates, etc.
• Does not corrode or deteriorate reinforcement steel.

• Clean the RCC receiving surface with a water jet.
• Apply HACK AID PLAST TF directly on a clean moist surface.
• Apply a coat on the back side of the tile.
• Ensure both surfaces are tacky.
• Lay cement mortar (3mm to 5mm thickness) on the back of the tile.
• Fix tile on the tacky surface of the RCC wall.
• The tacky period may be around 10 minutes.
